First Class Credit Union is dedicated to serving postal employees and the community.  If you are a postal employee or a family member of a postal employee, you are eligible for membership at the credit union.  First Class Credit Union has a community charter!  The community charter states the counties of Polk, Story, Jasper, Marion, Warren, Madison, Boone, Dallas, Plymouth, Cherokee, Ida, Woodbury, Crawford, and Monona. If you are living or working in such counties you can be a member. If you aren't living or working in these counties and still would like to be a member, there is another option available to you. Credit unions also allow Select Employee Groups to be members of the credit union. This means if the employer is an SEG (Select Employee Group), any employee of that company can be a member regardless of where they call home! If your company wants to be an SEG, call us at the credit union and we would be happy to get in touch with your human resources department. This option is completely free to the employer and is considered an added employee benefit. 1-800-392-7122
