Iowa Postal Credit Union was organized in 1925 to serve postal employees. We grew to serve postal employees and their families. We also serve small employee groups.With the merger of First Iowa Community Credit Union, formed in 1925, we became First Class Credit Union and serve the community.
On December 2, 2015 we changed our name to First Class Community Credit Union to reflect that we are Postal and also a community credit union.
First Class Community Credit Union is a full service financial institution with branches in Des Moines and West Des Moines that cater to the members needs. These needs are met every day with nearly 400 years of combined experience.
We offer a full line of financial services to meet the needs of our members. These services include:
